Mastery of fundamental skills and exploration of content is emphasized in all disciplines. Our program offers boys wonderful opportunities for academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth and development at a crucial stage of their adolescence.

Our students interact with the adults in our community throughout each day both in and outside of the classroom, and the relationships developed through these interactions provide our boys with strong mentoring and positive role models in all aspects of their lives.

May I go home on weekends?
Many weekends during the year are “open,” so that students can go home or to the homes of classmates who live close by. If it is an “open” weekend, students may go home after all commitments are met on campus and the proper permissions have been acquired. Students must fill out a weekend slip and acquire parental permission by noon on Friday to get approval for weekend travel.

Location & Facilities:

The School is located off a quiet, secluded street in a typical New England village. The campus itself is situated on a peninsula extending into Canaan Street Lake, 1,200 feet above sea level.

Within sight of Mount Cardigan, the campus enjoys views of surrounding hills and valleys. The campus comprises 525 acres of woods, fields, and lake shore, with colonial brick dormitories, a well-stocked library, modern classrooms, woodworking shop, language laboratory, chapel, student health center, theater, athletic complex, and state-of-the-art hockey arena.
