Steamboat is a destination resort, 157 miles northwest of Denver, 85 miles north of I-70, and 11 miles from the Continental Divide. To Campus from Steamboat:
From the Hot Springs Pool or Post Office (eastern part of town.)
- Turn north at 3rd Street, (note Post Office on corner.)
- Turn right at the next stop sign, (Fish Creek Falls Road.)
- Continue up the hill and turn left on Amethyst Drive.
- Follow it as it winds around the hill and past the public schools.
- Amethyst Drive will lead you to County Road 36/Strawberry Park Road.
- Follow this road for 4 miles.
- You will be driving through a valley called Strawberry Park and will pass Perry-Mansfield Dance/Theater camp on the left.
- Look for the Steamboat Mountain School sign on the left. You will see rustic buildings and the main building is flying the American and Colorado flags.
