The Recording Arts Center operates out of Studio West, the largest and most established recording studio in San Diego County, Southern California. We offer a wide variety of classes with flexible schedules designed to give students the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the world of audio and post production. Class size is strictly limited to ensure that students work on dedicated iMac/M Box 2 Pro Tools workstations and Pro Tools HD systems, and all our instructors are working professionals in their chosen fields.

At TRAC we are proud of our affiliations with some of the leaders in audio production. We offer certifications from such industry leaders as Digidesign and Waves, and you will be learning on state of the art digital audio workstations built around Apple computers and Digidesign Pro Tools hardware. Some of our classes are taught at Studio West, where you will get the chance to work on consoles from Solid State Logic, and use microphones from industry leaders like Neuman and AKG.
