Ashburton Cookery School:
Ashburton Cookery School is based in Ashburton, a small town on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon in south-west England, and offers a fresh approach to cooking with exciting cookery classes that emphasise hands-on cookery training, top quality, local, organic produce and inspirational teaching. With over 40 courses to choose from, designed to suit beginners as well as experienced cooks, our team of professional chef tutors will inspire you to cook with imagination, passion and enjoyment.
Ashburton is adjacent to the A38 Devon Expressway, and is only a 2.5 hour train journey from London Paddington Railway Station, and a 2 hour drive from Bristol. Well serviced by trains, and the M5 motorway, our students come from all over the country, staying overnight, for a weekend or for a full week in our B&B accommodation.
Ashburton is a picturesque Georgian market town on the edge of Dartmoor, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by rolling green hills, ancient hedgerows and trees, you will feel you are a million miles away from the stresses of everyday life.
The new Ashburton Cookery School is 500 yards from our accommodation and the Garden Kitchen at Ashburton Court. On a nice day you may choose to walk (10 mins) or alternatively you can take our dedicated, complimentary minibus that runs everyday between the sites at 9.10 am and at the end of your cookery course.
