Lower IV - Lower V (Years 7-9 Key Stage 3):
These courses are based on the National Curriculum. EFL or Enhanced Learning lessons may be substituted for the second foreign language as required. Pupils in Lower V (Year 9) are also offered the opportunity to learn Latin.

Middle V & Upper V (Years 10-11 Key Stage 4):

The aim is to provide each individual with a balanced course of study which will leave future options open but at the same time lay firm foundations for successful specialisation later.

Sixth Form - A-levels:
A broad and exciting range of subjects is offered at AS and A2. In addition to deepening your knowledge and understanding of subjects you have taken at GCSE, there are new subjects to choose from, including Economics, Politics and History of Art. In Art, you may choose from Textiles, Fine Art, 3D Design and Design and Technology. At AS you usually take four subjects although a handful of students this year take five or six. You will decide the best combination for you in one-to-one discussion with your tutor. In Upper VI a dedicated personal tutor will discuss your work progress and s/he will help you to resolve difficulties.
Boarding Options:
- Full Boarding, for families living a great distance away / overseas.
- Weekly Boarding, for families living closer to the school who are able to spend time together at weekends.
- Flexi-boarding, for pupils involved in evening activities one, two or three nights each week.
- Occasional Boarding, for pupils who may have an early start/late finish from a school outing, or whose parents are called away on work or family business.
