Moreton Hall has a well-established boarding community of boys and girls. We also offer an overseas boarding programme for our overseas students. Boarding may be ‘full', “weekly” or on a “flexible” nightly basis. Many of our boarders have achieved 13+ scholarships. Located in the County of Kent, just east of London, Rochester Independent College (RIC) is a progressive alternative to conventional secondary education with a happily distinctive ethos.

Accepting day students from the age of 11 and boarders from 16, the focus is on exam success in a lively, supportive and informal atmosphere. Students are encouraged to be themselves and achieve exam results that often exceed their expectations.

The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school. About 65 of the College's 280 students are boarders. Our Halls combine the informality of a university residence with the supervision and pastoral support appropriate for young adults.

As well as providing an excellent learning environment, Kent College offers a secure and happy home for boarders. At KC, family-run boarding houses provide spacious, comfortable accommodation and there is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in all houses. Our boarders come from all over the world and we maintain a good balance of British and international girls in houses and classes.

Most girls are full boarders who stay at weekends, whilst a number of local girls are weekly boarders who go home on Friday evenings. Flexi-boarders pay on a per-night basis.
