University for Foreigners Perugia:
The University for Foreigners Perugia is one of Italy's most established international institutions offering 3-year Bachelor and 2-year Masters Degree courses taught in English. Teaching Italian Language to Foreigners:
This Masters degree programme in Teaching Italian to Foreigners trains FL/L2 (Italian as foreign language/second language) teachers to teach in public and private schools, but also at local government offices and organisations specialised in helping immigrants integrate into society.
This programme accepts foreign students who want to teach Italian and promote Italian culture and civilisation abroad and Italian students who want to teach their own language to foreign students, in Italy or abroad.
Promotion of Italy Abroad:
This Masters degree programme is entitled Promotion of Italy abroad and is designed to train students to become professional language and culture promoters who will then be able to use their linguistic abilities and communication skills as well as their technical, economic and marketing skills.
The graduate will be a specialist in the spreading of Italian culture and the products of its civilisation abroad and will be able to represent Italy’s historical and cultural heritage for encouraging tourism and the promotion of “Made in Italy” merchandise.
Italian Language & Culture Courses:
The Italian language and culture courses, open to foreign citizens and Italians living abroad, as required by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages, are divided into two levels each Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced course. The Beginners and Intermediate level are general courses.
The 1st Level Advanced course consists of three study courses: Language, Culture and Technical/Business. The 2nd Level Advanced course focuses on Technical/Business subjects (C1+) and on Language/Culture subjects (C2).
