The American University of Rome: Ideally located on top of Janiculum Hill (Rome's highest hill) in Western Rome, The American University of Rome (AUR) is a four-year degree granting institution among the oldest American private universities in Italy.

Building A hosts administrative and faculty offices, student services and the main computer lab whilst building B has the bulk of the classrooms, laboratories and faculty offices. Evans’ Hall, a liberty villa of 1920, is the site of the library, student lounges and a beautiful outside garden.
Carini 23, a five story building of the ‘70s designed by a famous Italian Architect (Paolo Portoghesi) is the location of design studios, faculty offices, and the Batista Multimedia Laboratory, a state of the art lab for film production.
- Library: The Evans Hall Library is housed in its own two-story building with 15,000 volumes and room to expand to 25,000; 1,200 DVDs and Videos; 10,000 catalogued electronic resources and e-books; and electronic access additional resources including the catalogs of 19 libraries in Rome.
- Technology: Main general purpose computer lab with 55 PCs and several print stations; PC teaching classroom; Mac-based multimedia laboratory; 14 library workstations; wireless Internet access throughout the campus and its gardens and terraces.

- From Leonardo da Vinci International Airport / Fiumicino: From the Airport Terminal Railway Station take the Metropolitan Train to the stop “Trastevere Station”. Once exiting the station proceed to the tram #8 in the direction of Largo Argentina. Get off at Via E. Morosini and catch the #44 or #75 bus that comes up the hill to AUR. Tickets for the train departing from Fiumicino Airport can be purchased from the newspaper stand located near the train, the approximate cost is €8.00.
- From Termini Train Station: Bus #75 (direction Poerio / Marino) goes directly to the University. The University is located between the stops Via Dandolo/Calandrelli and Via Giacinto Carini. Either stop is less than 100 meters from the University. It is approximately 20 bus stops and should take 30-40 minutes.
- From Piazza Venezia: Bus #44 (direction Montalcini) goes directly to the University. The University is located between the stops Via Dandolo/Calandrelli and Via Giacinto Carini. Either stop is less than 100 meters from the University. It is approximately 10 bus stops and should take 20-30 minutes.
