Located in the municipality of Waimes, in eastern Belgium, 'Un iota en plus' is a language school that aims at increasing its students' skills in the French language dramatically in a very short period of time, whatever the specific needs of the student. In order to achieve that goal, we have put in place a number of measures that deliver, based on our motto: 'Speak. Write. Learn. Unwind.'
French Language Courses:
For adults from beginner to advanced learners
At 'Un iota en plus' we have as many programs as we have students! We give ourselves only two constraints: 29 hours of classes per week on the one hand, and the objectives and expectations of the student on the other hand.
The program will depend entirely on you, and on what you state you want once you have registered to a course. We will prepare a detailed program for each of the 29 hours of the week, in such a way that your objectives are reached on the Friday at 15:30.
If, at a certain point in time during the course, you are not satisfied with your progress or with our personalized approach, we can immediately adapt the program or the way of teaching to better match your expectations.

As our courses are fully tailored to the particular needs of each student, the array of courses are as diverse as - but not limited to:
- writing skills for business purposes
- speech delivery in French
- mastering the theory of the French language in 5 days
- for complete beginners: Feel at ease in 5 days
- review of a given domain (terminology, understanding of texts, etc.) in 5 days
- and any other theme as you wish
Personalized Study Plans:
We shape the entirety of each course on the basis of your wishes and objectives, and can create a personalized programme for you. We can cover any domain of activity and any needs, be they business related or private.
'Un iota en plus' wants its students to acquire knowledge that they can easily convert into an asset in real life. Whenever possible, we use genuine materials and tools (articles, books, videos, etc.) that were developed and are actually used by real people of the real world.
During classes, our students are faced with a language that reflects the way it is actually used in their domain of activity. At 'Un iota en plus', there is no such thing as an academic programme devised by teachers for pupils.

The Direct Dutch institute, founded in 1985, is situated near the centre of The Hague, Netherlands, only a few minutes away from Laan van NOI Station.
