Bristol Language College:
Learn English in Bristol, a fabulous, historic, student-friendly city in the south-west of England! Situated close to the city centre, Bristol Language College specializes in General English lessons, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation courses. Part of the Tompkins Educational Group (TEG), we offer beginner to advanced level English courses to local and international students.
English Courses for Adults in Bristol:
General English Classes:
We run our General English classes from 09.30 to 12.45 Monday to Friday, an optional Communications Skills hour from 13.00 to 14.00 and an Examination Skills hour from 14:30 to 15:30. Evening classes are also available.
At Bristol Language College, we combine modern and traditional methods of language teaching to help you learn quickly.
We place particular emphasis on good vocabulary and provide the speaking practice that you need to survive and improve your life either here in England or anywhere in the world.
We have a maximum class size of 14 students (but an average of 8). Classes sometimes have part-time as well as full-time students in them. We only accept under-16s in special courses separate from adults.
A general English class covers all skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), along with the work you need on grammar and vocabulary.
At BLC and all TEG colleges, we understand the importance of value for money and that you must feel that you are learning and in an enjoyable way. Here are the General English levels we offer:

English Exam Preparation Courses:

These Preparation Courses are in the evenings every Monday and Wednesday from 18.00 to 21.00.
As well as an evening IELTS course, we also have a daily IELTS course for 15 hour per week, from Monday to Friday 9.30-12.45.
