There are fast, regular rail connections to London and the whole country – mostly from Bristol Temple Meads Station in the city centre.

London and south-coast cities such as Portsmouth and Southampton are easily reached in a few hours, as are northern cities such as Manchester and Liverpool. Cardiff, the capital of Wales, is less than an hour away.
