Sword Fighting Game - Pirates of the Caribbean style

Arrr matey! Prepare for a crazy, sword-fighting, platform action game with pirates, skeletons, and all kinds of wacky occurrences! Pirates of the Caribbean: Cursed Cave Crusade is an intense, swashbuckling, fighting adventure game where you must make your way through the formidable pirate Barbarossa’s underground hideout – and save your beloved Elizabeth Swan! Featuring an army of barbaric warriors and re-animated skeletal pirates, and a series of tricky platform and ledge-based mazes, this ‘search and recover’ mission is one that requires great bravery and skill!

Good keyboard control is the most important attribute in your gaming arsenal here. You must tactfully choose when to jump, attack, and retreat. There are dozens of obstacles, bad guys and hindrances in each level, so you must be vigilant, and ‘in the zone’ when it comes to visual awareness and quick reactions. The pirate world needs a new swashbuckling hero – and this is your audition!

How to Play: You begin the game with 5 spare lives, and control your character using the Arrow Keys on the computer keyboard. Press Spacebar to use your sword. At the end of each level, you must defeat a Boss character to progress. Also collect gold pirate coins to increase your score.

Keep a keen eye on your green Health Bar at the top of the game screen. Once this falls empty, you lose a life. However, you Re-spawn in exactly the same position. Once all lives are used up, and you must Re-start from the beginning.

Tip: Defeating each and every ‘minion’ bad guy is not essential. These warriors cannot jump up ledges and follow you, so you can leave them behind if you wish.
