Online Action Platformer Game - The Time is Broken
The Time is Broken is a fun and quirky, platform-based action adventure game where you must collect 24 clocks in each level while simultaneously avoiding clones of your own jumping character (a professor)! Use fast reactions, good timing and deft keyboard control to collect the clocks, and try to dodge and weave around the blue clones of the professor that appear.
Background info: Professor Timothy tried to make a time machine from a gazillion of clocks. Unfortunately, the mechanism failed, and now Timothy (you) must try to retrieve all of the clocks from each level. However, the malfunction of time means that clones also randomly appear in each level – These are previous versions of you, stuck in a time loop! You must avoid these clones as coming into contact with one causes a devastating time paradox!
Skills / tip: Very fast reflexes, good observation and hand-eye coordination skills are all really important in this ledge and jumping-based skill and puzzle game. The dangerous clones behave erratically, but they always repeat their movements. Try to use this factoid to your advantage in your quest to avoid contact with them!
How to Play: A Flash-based, platform / skill game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). There are 7 normal levels, and one final ‘Time Lord’ boss level. In the 7 regular levels, your goal is to collect all 24 clocks that appear randomly around the level. To enter a level, you must guide Professor Timothy to the Entry Door on the Level Select Screen, and then press the Down Arrow or the S Key.
Control Professor Timothy's movement with the Arrow Keys or the WASD Keys on your computer keyboard. Each time you collect a clock with an exclamation mark (!) on it, a blue Professor Tim clone appears. Avoid contact with any of these clones. If you make any kind of contact with a clone, you must re-play the level.
