How to Play: Click Play to begin. Your Goal is to earn as many ‘lines’ as possible, and to prevent your block tower from reaching the top of the play zone. To score a line, you must to create a solid horizontal line of blocks across the entire width of the game area – with no gaps in between. When you create a ‘line’, that row of blocks is eliminated from the game screen (This way, you can keep the tower height as low as possible).
Each block drops automatically from the top of the play zone. You can move blocks from side-to-side using the Left and Right Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard. Rotate the falling blocks by pressing the Up Arrow (This action makes it easier to fit certain blocks into specific spaces within your tower). You can manually speed up a block’s descent by pressing the Down Arrow. The longer the game progresses, the faster the blocks descend automatically. For strategic purposes, you can see the next ‘upcoming block’ displayed in the top right corner of the play zone. Note: You can also move / rotate blocks using your computer mouse by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the play area. However, this is much more time consuming than the Arrow Key controls.
