Matching Card Game for Kids - Cards and Diamonds
Cards and Diamonds is a fun card-playing "match 3 or more" game for young children where you must place cards on a grid to create sets of 3 or 4 or 5 matching cards (horizontally or vertically) in order to earn points toward a target score before the clock runs out. You can score by aligning three, four or five of the same numbered cards together, or by placing an ascending or descending run together (for example: 3, 4, 5 or Q, J, 10 or 3, 3, 3).
Background info: Each of your matches generates energy for a diamond miner who churns out a shiny new diamond each time you create a valid match of 3 or 4 cards.
This easy-to-play, mouse-only tile matching game could be used as a good exercise for little children learning sequences and counting in the school classroom or at home, or any kids who enjoy playing card games online. Good concentration is required and exercised here. So, let’s see if you really are an Ace when it comes to matching games!
How to Play: In each level, you have a set time limit in which to score a target number of points (The clock is situated in the top left corner of the game screen, and the Target Score is indicated in the top right corner). To score points, you must click on and drag cards from your base deck at the top, and make special 3, 4 or 5 card matches in the grid below.
You score points if you place 3, 4 or 5 of the same-numbered cards in a line - horizontally or vertically. The moment you add the set matching card, all of the matched cards are eliminated, and points are added to your score. You can also create a match of 3, 4 or 5 ascending or descending cards (For example: 9, 10, J, or 8, 7, 6). If your points tally is on or above the Target when the clock runs out, you progress to the next level.
Important Note: Aces are special cards here, and can be used as high and low values. For example, you can create an A, 2, 3 set, as well as a Q, K, A set. However, K, A, 2 is not deemed a valid match. Enjoy the challenge!
