Color Ball Matching Game for Kids - Pool Lines
Pool Lines is a straight-forward, matching-based puzzle game where you have to score as many points as possible by matching 5 pool balls in a row. You must move the various colored pool balls around a large pool table-style grid until they are in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of 5. This is not as easy as it sounds, as each time you make a move, more balls are introduced into the game. The difficulty increases as the game progresses, with matches becoming more difficult to create.
Keep moving the balls around and aim for the high score. There are no tricks or special moves, just good, old-fashioned matching fun! Strategic planning and concentration is the key, as you must carefully position the balls to maximize your chances of matching success! How to Play: At the start of the game, there is a large, 9 x 9 pool table-style grid with various colored balls on it. Select a ball by Left Clicking with your computer mouse on it, and move it by clicking on an available square. You can only move the ball to a square that is on a right-angled path from it. The 90 degree angle cannot bend more than twice, as otherwise it is an illegal move. Keep moving the pool balls around until you get 5 of the same color in a row. The row can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal.
Once you get a row of 5, those balls disappear. This creates more space, and scores you some points. Each time you make a move that doesn’t result in a row of 5, three new balls are automatically entered onto the grid. This means that as the game progresses, matches become more difficult as there isn’t as many clear paths to move the balls around. You can see which balls are going to be entered next at the top of the game screen. Use this knowledge to move the balls already on the grid into a position where the new balls might make a match for you.
