Get ready for a difficult mouse-clicking skill game with one of the most unbelievable titles in flash game history! I Love Traffic is a very challenging road management simulation game where you play the coveted role of the person that every driver out there would love to get their hands on at some point; the traffic light controller! That’s right; you are in complete command of all traffic lights at a series of busy road intersections. Your job is to Avoid Crashes! You’ve got 30 seconds in each level to ensure a set amount of vehicles pass safely through the hectic thoroughfare. However, there are many tricky aspects to life as a traffic controller, i.e. there are emergency services that need to pass quickly, not all drivers play by the rules, and nobody likes to be kept waiting!
This tremendously difficult point-and-click organization game is a true test of your cunning multi-tasking and mouse clicking skills, as you may have to control more than one traffic light at once. Smart observation skills, deep concentration, and the ability to make quick decisions and good judgements under immense pressure are all vitally important attributes required. Everyone just wants to get to where they’re going but you’ve got to employ a calculated strategy to make sure this happens without accident! How to Play: In each of the 20 increasingly challenging levels, your goal is to ensure a set number of vehicles pass safely through your traffic-light intersection. Have a quick glance at the bottom right corner of the game screen at the beginning of each level to see how many cars, trucks, and vans need to be allowed through for you to progress. The controls are straightforward; simply click on a traffic light using your computer mouse or touchpad to change it from green to red, and vice versa. The trick is to wait until the road is clear before you allow the backed-up traffic to proceed.
Once you reach the target number of cars within the 30 second period, you progress to the next level. However, there are three different ways that you can ‘fail’ a level; 1) by not allowing enough cars to pass through by the time the 30 seconds is up; 2) by causing an accident where two or more vehicles crash into each other; and 3) by allowing traffic to get backed up to the point where the cars are in a crazy traffic jam that reaches all the way to the edge of the game screen. You also have to contend with ambulances and police cars – these vehicles often do not stop for traffic lights.
Note: Each time you complete a level, you get treated to a wacky educational fact! For example: “Did you know an elephant’s tooth can weigh as much as 12 pounds?” Why a top traffic manager needs to think over such interesting facts while very busy at work is a mystery you might help us to solve!
