Puzzle Brain Teaser Game for Kids - Jumpover
Jumpover is a simple yet challenging online puzzle game where your aim is to leave a single red ball on the grid by eliminating all of the others. At the start of each level, you have a number of red balls on a triangular grid. You must eliminate all-but-one of these balls by ‘jumping’ them over each other. In this tricky brain-teaser, a ball is removed when another one jumps over it.
However, there must be a space on the grid to land on for the ball that does the jumping. At the end of the level, you must be left with just one ball to progress. The rules are quite like Checkers, only all the pieces are the same color. There are 20 different levels, and each one is more difficult than the last.
This straight-forward problem solving activity will leave you scratching your head as you try to come up with a solution that leaves just one ball on the game grid. This interesting puzzle will help to get you thinking logically and help to exercise your concentration skills and strategy planning ability. Think you’ve got what it takes? How to Play: The rules of the game are pretty simple; You must jump a ball over another to eliminate it. At the end of each level, you must be left with just one ball to win. To jump a ball, left click and drag it with your computer mouse. You must ‘jump’ it over another ball and place it back on the grid. Remember there must be a spot on the grid for the ‘jumping’ ball to land on behind the one that you're trying to eliminate. If you make a correct move, the ball that you jump disappears.
Keep jumping balls to eliminate them, one by one until there is only a single ball left. If you run out of possible jumps, left click the Reset button in the top left corner of the game screen. There are 20 levels in this game; Choose whichever level you want – 1 being the easiest and 20 being the hardest (more advanced gamers can skip straight to the harder levels.) Toggle through the levels by left clicking the green arrows on either side of the game grid. Happy strategizing!
Tip: You don’t have to use the same ball to jump each time. Each ball is equal and can jump any one of the others. The ball that you used to jump in your last turn can be jumped in your next one.
