This fast-paced winter sports activity requires nifty finger-work and an extremely steady hand, as you have to execute each jump with absolute precision in order to avoid falling flat onto the snow! Learn all about the different types of epic flips and stunts that can be performed – and try to replicate them to enhance your score. Just make sure to nail that landing. Practice makes perfect! How to Play: Your goal is to score as many points as you can in 5 ski jumps off a mountain ledge. Starting off at the top of a neighboring peak, you have to build up sufficient speed in order to power up to the mountain ledge and launch yourself high into the air (giving you time to perform as many cool flips and tricks as you can before you land). To build up your speed, repeatedly hit Spacebar on your computer keyboard. When your just about to reach the top to the mountain to begin your jump, hit Spacebar one final time to launch into the air. Your timing has to be just right or else you’ll miss the jump.
While in the air, press the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard to perform the awesome ski stunts and flips needed to impress the yawning judges. Make sure to land squarely on your skis, as otherwise you crash into the snow and fail the jump. If you land well, and reach the bottom of the mountain, 3 judges score you on ‘Tricks’, ‘Air’, and ‘Style’. These scores are added up to give you a Total Jump Score. At the end of each jump, you also get feedback on what you did, or didn’t do, well. The scores from all 5 of your jumps are added together to form your Final Score which is added to the Leaderboard.
