Have you got the skills to succeed in the highly competitive world of real estate and property sales? Mansion Impossible is a challenging business strategy simulation game for kids and teens where you have to speculate, develop an ever-changing property portfolio, and flip real estate (buy and sell houses) to make a profit. You play the role of a real estate magnate, and have the pickings of all of the new buildings in your local area. Your ultimate goal is to raise sufficient virtual money to buy the biggest mansion (the prize asset) in town! Raise funds by keeping an eye on trends in the property market, and timing escalating prices for some buildings. Then act swiftly yet calmly to sell your assets at exactly the right time to maximize profits.
This fun and interesting tycoon game should help to aid your ability to multi-task, give you an appreciation of the intense pressures in the real estate market, as well as test how well you perform under that pressure. Think you’ve got the cool head, savvy business brain and money management skills to land your dream mansion? The ability to spot a bargain is a priceless skill in this game! Happy investing and success!
How to Play: Starting off with 100K in virtual money, you must buy and sell the houses that appear all over the town. Houses automatically pop up in random places along the streets of the neighborhood. Your goal is to raise enough virtual funds to purchase the huge Millionaire’s Mansion that dominates the top right corner of the game screen. Use your computer mouse or touchpad to Left Click on a house in order to purchase it. The price is shown in a bubble next to the house. If you have enough virtual funds available, the house turns gold once you own it.
This is an ever-fluctuating market! The house prices either rise or fall quickly. The trick is to sell your houses at a time when they have made the most profit (or at least some). A green Up Arrow indicates that the house price is increasing in value. A red Down Arrow means that the house is decreasing in value. Try to maximize profits, and sell houses when they reach their peak price (You can own as many houses as you like at any one time.) The game is complete when you finally purchase that monster mansion! In the bottom left corner, there is a timer. Each second constitutes a ‘month’ of game time. How many ‘years’ will it take you to earn enough funds in order to buy your ultimate prize possession? Good luck Master Realtor!
