The Kitchen in the Castle is Dublin’s most unique cookery school. Our culinary school is based in the beautifully restored Georgian kitchens in historic Howth Castle, Co. Dublin and is open to the public for a wide range of cooking courses and classes on topics ranging from Vegetarian cooking, Chinese cooking, Indian cooking, Mediterranean cooking, Spanish cooking, Fusion cooking and Thai cooking to Bread Making, Perfect Dinner Parties and Fun Girls’ Night Out cookery courses.

The Kitchen in the Castle situated in Howth Castle is located close to the village of Howth on Dublin's north side.

Directions from Howth Dart Station
8 Minutes walk

Leave the station turn right, after approximately 200 metres take the first turning left sign posted to the Kitchen in The Castle and Deerpark Hotel. Walk up the drive until you see the castle on your right. Turn right down the side of the Castle after about 70 metres you will see the entrance on your left.

Directions by Bus

5 Minutes Walk

The 31 bus runs from Eden Quay in the centre of Dublin to Howth alight at stage 4, Howth Demesne. Turn Right and take the first turning, almost immediately on your left, sign posted to the Kitchen in the Castle and Deerpark Hotel. Walk up the drive until you see the castle on your right. Turn right down the side of the Castle after about 70 metres you will see the entrance on your left.
