NABA is a recognised school of Visual Arts, Communication, Design and Restoration located in Milano, Italy. The school is located in the central canals area of the City of Milan - the recognised capital of fashion, publishing and design. NABA trains students and professionals in the areas of Design, Fashion and Textile Design, Theatre Design, Graphic Design and Art Direction, Media Design and Visual Arts through our undergraduate / graduate degree programs, diploma and certificate programs as well as summer courses. Photo of Art & Design School in MilanNABA was formed in 1980 by a group of internationally renowned artists with an innovative spirit geared towards experimental manual skills and design. We are an international institution, which integrates students of 45 different nationalities in its educational programs and promotes intensive educational exchanges with Art and Design universities in USA, Europe, Asia and Latin America. NABA collaborates with prestigious institutions such as Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, Philadelphia University, Rhode Island School of Design and Pratt Institute.

NABA’s education integrates the traditional disciplines of visual representation, the contemporary digital practices as well as the critical project culture of Italian design. Diploma Programs:
Students who have completed only 11 years of education before applying to NABA, can ask to enrol in the three-year Diploma Programs. Diploma Programs have the same curricula and the same examinations as the BA Programs, however they lead to the awarding of a NABA diploma.

Our BA & MA degrees & diplomas are valid in all European countries and all countries outside Europe that have a bilateral agreement with Italy.

Certificate Courses:
These programs are intended for students who do not want to commit to attend a long-term educational path and desire to follow only one year of the Diploma Program or a more tailor-made curriculum.

Summer Courses:
Summer Courses at beginner and advanced level are offered in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Fashion Styling, Fashion Photography, Fashion Marketing, Product Design and much more. These courses run for a duration of 3-4 weeks in June and July. Limited Scholarships are available for some courses.

Language of Instruction:

Our BA and MA degree programs are taught in Italian apart from the 1 year Master degree progam "Interior Design - New Domestic Landscapes" which is taught in English. NABA offers to its International students an intensive course of technical Italian on design during the month of September and the cost is included in the 1st year tuition fee.

This course is compulsory for BA and certificate program students, unless the International Relations Office agrees differently for a student who already has a prooved proficiency of the Italian language. The proficiency ot the Italian language must be documented directly to the International Relations Office.

Furthermore the International Relations Office strongly recommends students to attend this course in order to be more prepared for the admission test which will be held in September.

Semester / Year Abroad Programs:

We offer semester / year abroad study programs to international students. These programs have been developed in cooperation with a network of International universities and aim to respond to the educational needs of students who wish to spend a semester or a year in Italy to study in the areas of Fashion, Design, Visual Arts and Communication in English. USA college/university students can obtain USA University transfer credits. (One semester corresponds to 15 USA University credits).

The Florence Art Studio offers custom-made, intensive art courses in drawing and painting for students of all levels and backgrounds in the heart of Florence city center.

Taught entirely in English, our intensive Art Program is divided into 6 separate modules covering drawing & painting skills, with each module serving as the foundation for the next. Alternatively, you can choose to take any module as a stand-alone course, from one week to a month or longer.

The school was estabished in 1998 and is located in the old part of Florence. There are classrooms for drawing and designing both by hand and by computer, and a large. fully-equipped workshops with individual professional workbenches, and the instruments and tools needed for the various specialisations as well as machinery for complete cycle casting. Courses are available for a minimum of one month and a maximum of a year and are aimed at those are newcomers to the craft and also those who already have some basic knowledge and wish to gain specialisation. Lessons are morning and afternoon every day from Monday to Friday. Lessons are held in Italian but we have a teaching assistant who can help students when they do not understand.

• IED - Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan is an accredited international higher educational school offering undergraduate degree, masters, continuing education and summer courses in the fields of Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management of creative industries to Italian and international students.

Courses / Programs
Accademia d'arte offers specialized art holidays in Italy. We are located at the border of the Italian Riviera and the famous French "Cote d'Azur", next to Monte Carlo.

International artist Nicole Durand offers painting, drawing and scuplture classes and workshops for beginner to advanced artists. Classes can be taught in English, Italian and French.

We also provide cooking lessons, food and wine testing, museum visits and other excursions to allow you to experience the Italian language and culture.

Each student is assigned a semi private studio to study and develop their own personal work, with 24 hour access, in a safe environment at the school.

Normally students come for short periods (one to 3 months) however there are many students who choose to remain longer. We organize housing for each student close to the studio. Non-painting partners are welcome.
