NHTV University of Applied Sciences Breda:
Located in the south of the Netherlands, in the historical city of Breda, only 100 km from both Amsterdam and Brussels, NHTV helps students to search for the deeper truth, dare to ask questions, and innovate based on values

For 40 years, NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences has been training students for management positions in the fields of Digital Entertainment, Hospitality & Facility, Leisure & Tourism, Urban Development, Logistics & Mobility.  In a complex international context, students learn to look at implicit or explicit information from various perspectives.

Education at NHTV challenges students to find their own way and offers students tailored support and knowledge they need to develop into professionals. Education is geared to the needs of both students and the industry: NHTV draws inspiration from the industry and from its students, but maintains ultimate responsibility for its curriculum content. Students are co-designers of their study programmes, because experience has shown that the ‘most exciting’ programmes are those in which students themselves take an active role.

The linkage between education, research and industry leads to the continuous innovation of education, which gives graduates a competitive edge in the labour market. It also leads to knowledge development, which allows NHTV to evolve into a valuable partner for the industry, an industry that is growing increasingly complex. Breda is a lively city where students make up a considerable portion of the population. Breda has a lot to offer. There are many cinemas, ‘Mezz’ concerts & dance, and a brand new casino. And if you are looking for a restaurant or pub you will be spoilt for choice: Breda has about 900 of them, which makes it the city with the most pubs and cafés per square metre in the Netherlands! One of Breda’s advantages is that its entertainment scene is concentrated in the old restored city centre around the main church.
