Bilingual Child Academy, San Antonio:
With two locations in San Antonio TX, Bilingual Child Academy (BCA) provides Spanish immersion and dual language programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including a bilingual preschool (Spanish-English), Spanish summer camps, and after-school child care for elementary school students. Our schools are conveniently located in Hollywood Park and Stone Oak.

While designed for kids who do not understand or speak Spanish, the BCA Preschool program is also ideal for native Spanish speakers. Children learn functional, developmentally-appropriate use of the Spanish language through the experiences presented in a typical childhood curriculum.

Taught in a relaxed, creative, and academic environment, our highly interactive program uses art, music, and cultural expression to enhance learning. With bilingual qualified teachers, our day consists of both teacher-guided and child-initiated indoor and outdoor activities.

Designed by our own teachers, our lesson plans provide a balanced focus on readiness skills, social skills, pre-writing skills, spiritual development, and self-help skills. This allows us to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.

Your child will have the opportunity to build relationships and develop appropriate academic and problem-solving skills. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate and developmentally challenging.

In addition to traditional learning methods, we have developed our own curriculum with a combination of the American Academy of Pediatric developmental milestones, TEKS Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills, NEAYC Standards, and our curriculum of Preschool First and Estrellita.

Children will gain an understanding of themselves and others while engaging in interactive learning experiences. Our daily schedule includes a routine of indoor/outdoor activities, structured academic activities, independent and group work, eating, toileting, choice time, sleeping, and play time. 

Tiny Tots (Infants 0-23 months)
Groups are divided into: 6 weeks to 12 months; 12 months to 18 months; 18 months to 23 months.

Taught by a native Spanish teacher, the BCA Tiny Tots program offers infants a nurturing, loving, Christian environment that is full of stimulating activities.

This program is designed to balance physical, social, cognitive, and language development in order to meet the needs of the whole child.

Our littlest learners are exposed daily to a wide variety of age-appropriate experiences, including a sensory-rich classroom environment, outdoor time, sign language curriculum, movement opportunities, cooking experiences, daily Bible stories and songs.


Early Learners (2 year olds)
Taught in a Spanish immersion environment, this program allows our two-year-olds to enjoy classroom activities that incorporate learning about classroom rules and routines.

Using multiple resources and a play-based curriculum, we encourage them to learn and have fun exploring. They will experience a range of concepts including, self, friends, family, textures, shapes, animals, and more.
