ESL programs available in the summer in Vancouver and Toronto include:
- General English Course:
We offer General English courses for all levels - elementary, intermediate and advanced - at our English schools in Canada. The English course enables you to combine English classes with structured study sessions, leaving you time to practice your English during social activities such as sport or excursions with your new friends!
Students take 20 English lessons + 7 Structured Study Sessions per week. Courses last for a minimum of two weeks and start every second Monday.
- Intensive English Course:
Students of our Intensive English courses take 30 lessons per week, including core skills and specific skills classes. This class is aimed at students with elementary to advanced levels of English. Courses last for a minimum of 2 weeks and start every 2nd Monday.
- Super Intensive English Course:
Students of our Super Intensive English courses take 40 lessons per week, including core skills and specific skills classes. This class is aimed at students with elementary to advanced levels of English. Courses last for a minimum of 2 weeks and start every 2nd Monday.
- Diploma in Business Communication (8 weeks):
Learn essential English language skills for communicating effectively in a range of business contexts. Through case studies of real companies, interactive exercises, presentations, group discussions, simulated meetings and written reports you will improve you ability co communicate effectively in a business environment.
- TOEFL and Academic English:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is the most popular examination for measuring American English proficiency. It is necessary to get a good TOEFL score to enter a North American college or university and the Kaplan International TOEFL iBT and Academic English program is designed to help you achieve that. The excellent curriculum has been developed by Kaplan, the established world leader in test preparation.

Quest University Canada Summer Scholars

Located in Squamish, BC (one hour from Vancouver), Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian university of the liberal arts and sciences. Renew Your Quest is our week-long adult summer program that gives you the opportunity to experience the intellectual electricity of a Quest seminar, and enjoy the spectacular natural setting of our campus, staying in our condos and eating both on campus and at local stops of interest. Arts by the Lake at Long Bay Camp, Westport
Courses / Programs
Located on the shores of Bobs Lake in Westport, near Ottawa, eastern Ontario in east-central Canada, Long Bay offers summer camps specializing in visual arts, drama, music and dance camps for children and teenagers aged 9-16. Our camp program involving drawing, painting, mask making, sculpting, photography, drama/theatre, rock guitar, African dance and creative writing includes instruction from wonderful and talented art teachers who are specialists in their artistic field. Your children will explore their creativity, learn new skills and make new friends, all in a fun, safe and beautiful camp atmosphere. Our summer sessions are designed for young people of all backgrounds whether they have experience or are just beginning to discover the world of art. Long Bay Camp takes pride in its well-cared-for facility that allows campers to explore nature in a safe, natural environment. Along with the cool arts program, campers will have opportunities to participate in field sports like soccer, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, to enjoy campfires, nature hikes, swimming and canoeing. We are just a short drive from Ottawa, Kingston, Montreal and Toronto.

International House Vancouver

Since 1998, International House Vancouver has offered unique, educational, and fun English language (ESL) summer programs for young learners to suit every need, budget and language ability. In Vancouver, we offer a Children's Adventure Program (CAP) for children ages 5-12, suitable for mother & child or family study.
We also provide a Homestay Junior Program for 13-17 year olds, as well as a Residential Junior Program on the campus of the University of British Columbia for 9-17 year olds.
These programs are affiliated and held to the standards of Languages Canada, the IHWO, and AILIA, organizations that insist on the highest degree of educational excellence.

Quest University Canada, English Summer Program
Courses / Programs
Located just 1 hour north of Vancouver, Quest University is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, secular university. We provide a 2-week / 3.5 week English language immersion program to international high school and college students who want to improve their English language skills. Program fees include tuition and on-campus accommodation.The Quest English Summer Program aims to improve students' level of English. Students will be immersed in an academic journey into the English language, incorporating over 20 hours of class time per week. After class, students will engage in outdoors/didactic activities to complement the knowledge gained in the classroom.
Whether you are a high school or a university student, we invite you to brush up your English in an immersive, hands-on environment.
English Immersion Program for High School & University Students:

English in Canada - International Summer Camp

English in Canada - International Summer Camp is offering an English language summer program with a difference for children / teenagers ages 10 to 17 years. Our summer camp is based at the University of Ottawa, close to downtown Ottawa in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario, Canada, approximately 350 km north-east of Toronto.Each summer, over the past 30 years, 400 international students have enjoyed a unique learning experience. Summer camp participants will improve their English in a multicultural, fun setting, and will make new friends. Our language instructors, as well as activity instructors are university graduates with appropriate degrees. Our classes are limited to 15 students.
For many young students this will be the first time away from home. "Destination Canada" takes total care of its participants. They will be in a friendly and safe environment with 24-hour supervision and health care. Students will be picked up from and returned to Ottawa Airport. "Destination Canada" will make sure that all return flights are confirmed.
