Andrews Osborne Academy:
Andrews Osborne Academy (AOA), located on 300 acres of land in Willoughby (30 minutes from Cleveland), Ohio, is a private, co-educational boarding & day school offering Grades 7-12 (boarding) and Pre-K - Grade 12 (day) programs. Students may choose to board 5 days per week (Sunday evening to Friday afternoon) or 7 days per week throughout the academic year. Residential life is complimented by the diversity of background each student brings to AOA. While day students commute from the many communities surrounding Cleveland, boarders come from Ohio, across the country and around the world.

Choosing a college is a process, not a single event. The college counselor provides personal attention and guidance so that each student's eventual decision is thoughtful, organized and based on the individual's best interests. Each family is in constant contact with the counselor throughout the process as we explore the student's realistic desires and options.

Equestrian Program:
Beyond its ability to promote self-confidence, teamwork and discipline, AOA is unmatched in our dedication to equestrian sports. That pledge became the vision for a program where riders from preparatory schools could experience collegiate-like competition.

That’s why we developed the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA). The IEA is the only high school equestrian association that is an affiliate of the IHSA. At Andrews Osborne Academy, we’re serious about our riding.

Boarding Life:
Boarders at Andrews Osborne Academy live in one of our gracious houses on the campus. These houses accommodate up to twenty students and are overseen by professional houseparents and their assistants.

Most students share a room, although some singles are available. Each house has a large living room where students can relax, chat, watch television or practice the piano.

Laundry facilities are available in the basements of the dorms. The adults who reside in the houses also eat with the students in the dining hall, attend their campus events, assist them with homework and offer counsel when appropriate. They become a student's family away from home.

On weekends, boarders have the opportunity to relax and be themselves. The school provides transportation to local malls, movie theatres, stores, dances, social events, amusement parks, cultural events and more!
