GEOS English Academy Costa Mesa is located in Orange County, California approximately 45 minutes from Los Angeles. It is part of the GEOS family of over 550 language schools worldwide. We offer full time and part time English as a Second Language (ESL) and TOEFL Preparation courses at our school in the heart of Costa Mesa.
For full-time international students, our Intensive English Course can help you improve your English speaking and listening skills, learn new vocabulary, and improve your reading and writing. Part-time study is also available for some visitors. The TOEFL Preparation Course is ready to help you with the TOEFL iBT exam which is focused on integrated skill tasks and includes a speaking section. The TOEFL program teaches students the skills and strategies needed for getting the score they need in addition to improving advanced English skills. Our College Pathways Program can help you enter local colleges and universities with ease.
Working professionals and their families will find our Small Group Tutorial and Private Lesson courses are just the what they need to learn essential everyday English skills and Business English.
The GEOS Homestay Program is intended to give visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of American culture by sharing in everyday host family life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, it is expected that students will be able participate in family activities for a holistic view of life in Orange County.
A GEOS staff member visits each of our host families with students’ interests in mind. All families have also had a police background check. Our aim is to provide our students with a secure, educational and vibrant environment. Our host families live in safe, comfortable neighborhoods in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Huntington Beach, and surrounding areas.
Alternatively, we can also place you in a student residence close to the school.
Located about 45 minutes away from Los Angeles, Costa Mesa provides easy access to many of the major attractions, such as beaches, mountain areas and deserts, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Palm Spings and LA with its many sports arenas and major league teams. Orange County is also known for its diverse art galleries and art-oriented events taking place in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, and Laguna Beach, the exclusive arts and crafts world live among the beach cities. When you combine climatic brilliance, continual activities, attractions and destinations; the definition is Orange County, California.
GEOS Costa Mesa has been a progressive ESL school since 1989. Located in a modern building at the classy Metro Point in Costa Mesa. Right in front of the building, there is an open air food court where students enjoy the weather and have their lunch. The classic California architecture leads you along a walk way joined with retail stores, movies, colorful kiosks, and ends around a picturesque water fountain.
