2-week Residential Summer Course for Students ages 9-14:

We expect each student to leave the academy with a new confidence in the English language, a greater appreciation for English literature, for their understanding to have been shaped by the historical and cultural perspectives supplied by the course and for their own writing and presentation style to have been developed and honed.

English Proficiency Requirements:
All students must have at least an intermediate level of English. Classes will be streamed by age and ability to ensure everyone gains the maximum benefit from the lessons.

Location & Accommodation:

Accommodation at Sunningdale is based on two separate floors of small friendly dormitories, one floor for the girls and one for the boys.

Qualified pastoral staff will be living in quarters close to the dorms to safeguard and monitor the children throughout the night. They will make sure that the children are well looked after at all times and that they get a full nights sleep.

The school is located in the village of Sunningdale, 24 miles west of London and less than an hour by train. It is 25 minutes from Heathrow airport and 45 minutes from Gatwick airport. Students can travel to Sunningdale independently and we can help arrange transport to the school.

• Founded in 1997, Language and Music for Life (LMFL) offers a unique, tailored 2-week intensive summer music and language courses for British & international students in North Yorkshire, England.
