EduKick USA – GPA Soccer & Education Academy:

EduKick USA is proud to partner with Gateway Preparatory Sports Academy to bring you the unique EduKick USA – GPA Soccer & Education Academy. We provide an academic-year soccer / football program for teenage boys and girls of ages 16-19 from around the world in Glen Carbon, Madison County IL (less than 30 minutes north-east of St. Louis, Missouri). These talented youth soccer players attend high school at Gateway Preparatory School, receive daily soccer training from professional coaches, and live in a student residence or with an American host family.

EduKick USA believes that living, studying and training in Madison County, in south-west Illinois is an invaluable life experience that a soccer player will never forget, and the benefits of such an experience will be embedded positively into that individual for the rest of his or her life.

Our professional staff are fully committed to the overall education of each individual through our soccer development and the secondary / high school education received at Gateway Preparatory School in Glen Carbon IL.

Living, playing soccer and studying in Illinois as a teenager or young adult represents a great challenge for both the participant and the educators. Courage, effort and character is required from the participants to succeed.

From the EduKick USA staff, it demands creativity, professional guidance, supervision, mentorship and expertise in order to provide the required level of care and service to our young academy players.

For High School Teens (boys & girls ages 16-19)

- Soccer training 5 days per week
- Weekly core fitness training
- Competitive matches against college and club soccer teams in the area
- Education in a leading High School
- Accommodation in a supervised Student Residence or with a local American host family

EduKick Soccer Academy participants attend Gateway Preparatory Academy main campus from 9.30am – 1.30pm each weekday to focus on their academic pathway. A wide variety of courses are available, including:

- Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Business
- History
- Science
- Physical Education
- Fine Arts
- Foreign Language
- World Religion
- Advanced Placement Classes

Located in Glen Carbon IL, just 19 miles north-east of St. Louis, Missouri, EduKick USA provides a unique academic-year soccer training program for talented boys and girls (ages 16-19) from throughout the USA and worldwide.

Utilizing state-of-the-art local facilities at Gateway Sports Academy, Edwardsville High School, and Southern Illinois University, this program allows high school teens to experience life in an Illinois high school, benefit from professional soccer training, and immerse themselves into the English language.

The program facilities are all located within minutes of each other in the Glen Carbon area. Participants are transported by private bus between the program locations:

- Academic location: Gateway Preparatory school main campus, Glen Carbon
- Student Residence & gym work location: Gateway Sports Academy, Granite City
- Strength and conditioning location: Accelerate Fitness, Edwardsville
- Soccer training sessions: Edwardsville High School, Edwardsville
- Soccer matches/training sessions: Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville

EduKick Soccer Academy participants have two accommodation options:
Students are accommodated in our supervised residence dormitory facility in Granite City, Illinois (a suburb of St. Louis MO), or with a local American host family.

Supervised Student Residence:
Students are accommodated in our supervised residence dormitory facility in Granite City, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis MO. 50 students can be accommodated at our residence at any given time. Residence features include:

- 6x oversize dormitory rooms (each room sleeps 8 students)
- Full-size kitchen
- 6x bathrooms
- TV room
- Lounge/games room

Accommodation with a Local Host Family:
All EduKick host families are carefully selected and experienced with long term international student care. We appreciate each individual has different interests and requirements so it is our goal to match student with an appropriate host family. 

Safety & 24 hour care is our highest priority. In addition to the Host Families, EduKick USA has a full-time dedicated Student Health & Welfare Officer to mentor, guide & supervise participating EduKick USA players on a daily basis (as needed).

EduKick USA has strong professional partnerships with many American Universities and soccer clubs throughout America, from grass roots to the professional level.

The EduKick USA Resident Soccer Academy is extremely progressive, combining quality soccer training and competitive matches.

Players begin the course in late August with pre-season at their assigned high school (Gateway Preparatory School) and continue playing soccer throughout the school year.

Each week, the EduKick USA players receive 4-5 coaching sessions by either their high school soccer coach or local licensed coaches.

These sessions are held every day after school at our state-of-the-art training facilities, and will expose the students to one of the highest levels of soccer coaching available in America.

Supplemental Strength & Conditioning gym & beach sessions, coupled with EduKick USA Soccer 101 lectures, rounds out the overall soccer education provided to our academy participants.
