The University of Chichester in West Sussex, South-East England (50 miles from London), is an internationally recognised university offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs to UK and international students. Your Student Hall Representative and Welcome Block Representative will play an important role in your time in the residences and is the first person to turn to if you require any help or information. The prospect of finding yourself private accommodation doesn't have to be a daunting task. Of course it seems like that when you start, as students often feel under pressure to make a quick decision without enough information to base those decisions on. The University of Chichester has an accreditation scheme for the off-campus accommodation we advertise. This means landlords have agreed to follow a certain code of conduct to ensure the fair and efficient management of their properties, and that they meet all health & safety requirements.
Homestay Host Families:
Homestay landlords are resident landlords, sometimes with children, who offer accommodation inclusive of meals and the opportunity to live as part of their family. No more than four students can stay with a host at any one time. It is a very popular option with students who are not residents in the UK and/or who may be looking to improve their English language skills.

The campus in Chichester is set in beautiful surroundings, with plenty of green space to relax in and the desirable combination of attractive, historic buildings and excellent, modern facilities. Chichester has access to the north via the A29 from London. Chichester railway station, on the West Coastway Line, has regular services to Brighton, London Victoria via Gatwick Airport, Portsmouth, Southampton and Basingstoke. Chichester Airport is located just north of the city.
