As such we are proud to offer a wide range of courses from initial teacher training to the education of adults, from literacy and counselling studies to management and the use of ICT in education. We offer undergraduate degrees and a range of postgraduate qualifications including Master's degree programmes, certificates and diplomas.

We offer four Initial Teacher Education courses:

Secondary
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - one year full-time
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - one to three years part-time, flexible
Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) one year

Primary
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (SCITT) one year full-time

BA (Hons) Degrees:
Combined Studies; Counselling; Creative and Professional Writing; Fine Art

Masters Programmes include:
Education; Special Needs; Higher Education; TESOL; Counselling Studies

Ocean and Earth Science at The University of Southampton

Located in Hampshire in the South of England, The University of Southampton has a well-established reputation for its outstanding research and degree courses in Ocean and Earth Science. Our university is only 75 miles south-west of London and 19 miles north-west of Portsmouth. Ocean and Earth Science students are based at the prestigious National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS).

There are three types of Ocean and Earth Science degree programmes available at The University of Southampton - Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc) and Integrated Master of Science (MSci). At Aberystwyth University Postgraduate Students can study a taught or research course.
