The School of Education is part of the University of Nottingham which is situated in East Midlands, England UK. The School of Education is located in The Dearing Building. It forms part of the Jubilee Campus which was opened in September 1999 by Her Majesty The Queen. This £50 million campus also houses the Schools of Computer Science and Information Technology, and the Nottingham University Business School. Students benefit from state-of-the-art technology and modern facilities, including on-site accommodation, restaurants, library and computing centre. Further facilities can be found at University Park only one mile away.

By Taxi:
There are taxi ranks throughout the City Centre and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes about 15 minutes.

From East Midlands Airport: (Approximately 10 miles)
From East Midlands Airport you can take the Skylink service to the City Centre to connect with Nottingham City Transport buses, or the Rainbow 5, operated by Trent Barton Buses, for which the nearest stop to Jubilee Campus is the Queens Medical Centre. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall.

You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.

From M1 Motorway:
Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. After five miles turn left onto the A6514, Middleton Boulevard. Turn right at the next roundabout onto the A609 Wollaton Road. The main entrance to Jubilee Campus is clearly signposted on the right.

The School of Contemporary Chinese Studies, University of Nottingham is located in Nottingham, in Nottinghamshire County in the East Midlands of England (approximately 2 hours north of London). We are the only academic school in the UK to focus specifically on contemporary China, and are recognised as a national leader in the provision of high quality, discipline-based research and degree programs in this area.

We provide a wide range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level to students from the UK, Europe and around the world. Unlike any other university in the UK, we welcome students who have already studied Mandarin as well as complete beginners; native speakers of Mandarin Chinese are offered a broad range of alternative modules.

At Aberystwyth University Postgraduate Students can study a taught or research course.
