Altiplano Training offers two excellent
locations in the south east of France, in
world-famous Chamonix (all year round) and rural
Mens (June-October). We provide the stimulating,
friendly and professional environment which
allows you to develop your linguistic ability.
Both of our locations offer a wide range of
outdoor activities and sports to compliment your
classes.Courses:
We specialize in one-to-one French courses that
focus on French social and business cultures as
well as key language skills. These are extremely
high-quality courses, with excellent, highly
qualified, highly experienced and patient
teachers. Courses include intensive French
courses and intensive French business
courses in Chamonix, as well as French courses
with homestay (or farm or hotel) in Mens.
Locations: Chamonix is a lively, cosmopolitan town situated
at the foot of Mont-Blanc in the French Alps, on the borders of
Switzerland and Italy in
south-east France, just 1hr from Geneva
International airport. Activities available in
Chamonix include: Golf, Skiing, Mountain-biking,
Hiking, River-rafting, Wine-tasting,
Cultural-visits, Paragliding, Climbing,
Abseiling.
 Mens is the market town for the Trieves;
a wonderful plateau of rolling farmland and
forests surrounded by the mountains of the
Vercors and the Ecrins in
south-east France, 40min south of Grenoble and 2
hrs south of Lyon. Craft courses and sports
available to complement your French course.
Courses in pottery, felt-making, watercolour
painting, painting furniture, organic cookery,
medicinal plants and “green” construction
techniques are all possible: all in French!
Popular sports and activities include walking,
mountain biking, windsurfing & kite surfing,
horse riding and paragliding. Courses in these
sports are also available.
