Some people say “it’s a dog-eat-dog world”. Well, in this fun online game – it’s a fish-eat-fish world! Hungry Piranha is an addicting skill game for kids where you play the role of a little piranha fish that has to munch his way to survival! This is a successor to the extremely popular Fishy game where the objective is – eat, or be eaten! The catch is that you can only chomp on fish that are smaller than you. If you come into contact with a bigger fish – it’s fish fingers!
Each time you eat a fish, you grow bigger, so dodge and weave your way around the ocean looking for the smaller little guys. Beware of sharks however, as there are big, nasty Great Whites that chase after you. You’ll need quick reactions to succeed, as there are so many fish that appear from all angles. Ok little Nemo-like Guy, it’s time to gobble your way to greatness. Good luck too!
How to Play: There are three difficulty levels – Easy, Medium and Hard. Choose which one you want to attempt by toggling through them with your computer mouse. Once the action begins, use the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard to control your fish. Swim around the ocean area looking for smaller fish to eat. Once you start chasing one, he starts to swim away – so you have to be quick to catch him. Each time you eat a fish, your Power Bar at the top of the game screen is replenished. It slowly decreases all the time, and if it goes altogether, it’s game over. Avoid bigger fish – if you hit off one, it’s also game over.
In the top right corner, you’ll see a Shark Alert icon. If this flashes red, it means there’s a shark on its way, so be careful. If the shark spots you, he’ll give chase. If caught, you become shark food, and have to start all over again. Keep munching away until you become the biggest fish around (apart from the Shark)! Tip: When the Shark Alert icon is flashing, quickly swim to the top or the bottom of the game area. Here, it is more difficult for the shark to spot you.
