Fun Teamwork-based Game - FireBoy and WaterGirl 2
Teamwork is the secret! FireBoy and WaterGirl 2: The Light Temple is a fun and challenging, teamwork-based, platform adventure game where you must guide two brave cartoon buddies through a series of tricky maze-like levels with ‘escape’ as the main objective. Set in a dark, underground temple, you must carefully maneuver the characters (Fire Boy and Water Girl) up and over obstacles, above treacherous pits, and more. Great teamwork is the key to success here as both characters help each other progress by flipping switches, building bridges, activating moving ledges, and solving a range of mini-problems in each level.
This very cool arcade game requires good observation skills as well as nifty keyboard control (The playing style is reminiscent of classic platform games ). Good problem-solving, strategic planning and team management skills are really important as you work simultaneously with both characters to create a practical solution to each level. Ok Fireboy and Watergirl, let's see your interactive teamwork skills in action!
How to Play: Control Fire Boy (the red character) using the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard. Control Water Girl (the blue character) using the WASD Keys. There are 4 different ‘types’ of level, indicated by four different shapes on the Level Select screen:
- In the ‘Hexagon’ levels, your goal is simply to get both characters to the Exit Doors.
- ‘Triangle’ levels are very similar, but you must use more simultaneous movement.
- In ‘Big Diamond’ levels, you must collect the large Green Diamond, and then head for the Exit Doors.
- In ‘Small Diamond’ levels, the lights are out! Platforms light up as you progress. The aim here is still to get both characters to the Exit Doors.
Each character can collect optional diamonds in order to earn extra points (Only Diamonds which are the same color as that character can be collected). If a character falls into a pool that is the OPPOSITE of their element, you must replay the level. This means that if Fire Boy comes into contact with a pool of blue water, you fail, and vice versa. Before you submit an error report, please review these common issues & solutions:
- Ask for help on Learn4Good Games Discord Channel
- Note: If the game is taking a while to load, please press Ctrl and F5 buttons on your keyboard at the same time to refresh the page without local cache. If some advertisements get stuck - try to reload the page once or twice.
- Try using a VPN or Proxy service in case you are having a problem with Blocking or Connection Reset or see that Game does Not Load properly.
- If you see a GAME BLOCKED message or if a game does NOT LOAD in 3-5 minutes even after page refresh - this is not blocked by us. Please speak to school/office administration or your network provider. They are blocking it.
- If the game DOES not FIT the screen (part of the game area is below above the browser) - see the GO FULL SCREEN button just at the right above the game. This should solve it.
- Make sure that Javascript is Enabled in your device browser.
- You may only see a blank screen / or no game screen at all if advertisements are in any way restricted on your browser.
- Make sure that No Ad Blocker is enabled on your browser (Many game developers only income source is through ads, so they don't make the games available if ads are blocked).
- Even if your Ad Blocking software is disabled, it may cause an issue with loading an HTML5-based game.
- You need a High Speed internet connection because some games use large files which take a minute or two to load for the first time.
- Some games require you to tap/click on the game screen area when they load in order to start.
- Playing on a different device or browser (with different settings) can often solve the issue.
- Games are not available in all jurisdictions outside of the USA.
