Think Outside the Box Game - Down Is Up

To find success, learn to think outside the box, and try and try again with endless enthusiasm! Play Down Is Up, a cool and artistic, platform-based, brain teaser puzzle game where you must guide a small acrobatic character to a rotating, black ‘Exit Block’ in each level. Unfortunately for your character, the Exit Block is often in hard-to-reach locations, and the natural effect of gravity must often be ignored in order for you to progress in many of the really challenging levels.

This fun and interesting, gravity-control game requires very good analytical thinking, strategy skills and patience as you review the problem and environment, and then attempt to plot your route through each maze-like level. Enjoy the classic, problem-solving platform action!

How to Play: Once the game loads, the game begins immediately (with no instruction screens or menu screens). In each of the 20 progressively-difficult levels, your job is to guide your small jumping stickman character to the rotating, black ‘Exit Block’. Once your character comes into contact with the Exit Block, you progress to the next level.

Use the Arrow Keys or the WASD Keys to control your character’s movement. A key feature here is that your character has the ability to walk through open walls (through the left and right sides of the game screen), and appear on the opposite side. Similarly, if you fall through a hole at the bottom of the game screen, you continue to fall through the top of the game screen - as if you were teleported.

In later levels, you must control and alter the state of gravity - to succeed in reaching the Exit Block. Here, ‘Gravity Arrows’ appear around the level. If your character comes into contact with one of these Arrows, the force of gravity immediately switches to the direction of the arrow. This can be slightly disorienting at first attempt but you should hopefully get used to it with a little practice. Click on the Pause icon in the top right corner of the game screen to access the Level Select Screen at any time.
