Students can take 20 or 30 lessons a week. Our afternoon lessons (included in the Intensive 30 lessons) are often themed and cover many aspects of British culture, history and society. Teachers may base lessons around taking students to a museum or local place of interest. All our teachers are carefully selected for their friendly and professional approach to language teaching. They draw on their skills and experience to select the most appropriate approach for each s

Your accommodation is an essential component of your stay with us. Our carefully selected host families offer friendly, comfortable surroundings and play a central role in our programme. Founded in 1995, ECS Scotland is a family run, British Council accredited English language training centre located in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town.
