Located in the heart of beautiful Florence, Northern Italy, IED Florence is an international design school that provides 4-week fashion summer programs taught through English. Our courses are a perfect solution for those who desire to combine their spare time during holidays with a stimulating new experience in fashion and design. Following a precise methodology and guided by professors, who are all professionals from the chosen field, students will experience the development of a project specific to their interests.Every year, during June and July, the IED Group offers intermediate and advanced courses in the fields of Fashion, Design and Visual Arts. Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence
Courses / Programs
• Alchimia is a private contemporary jewellery school located in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. We provide a wide range of academic, short-term intensive jewellery courses - including our innovative summer workshops and one-on-one courses in contemporary jewellery.• We offer short 3-day workshops to a maximum of one week. Summer courses are taught by experienced jewellery design expert.
• Our intensive jewellery courses are an excellent solution for those who have limited time to study and experiment in the area of contemporary jewellery. Available in summer and year-round, these courses are taught on a one-to-one basis.

Summer School for Fine Arts & Media, Venice
Courses / Programs
The International Summer Academy for Fine Arts and Media in Venice is a combination of academic studies and an open academy. The courses are offered for students of universities as well as for applicants without training in art.In this way, it combines advanced level with open accessibility. Courses take place parallel to the Venice Biennales, which also influence the program. The uniqueness of the summer academy in Venice is the concept of small, specialized classes with the possibility to combine them. All courses include a training module for beginners providing techniques and skills with most recent didactic methods.
The fact that the art studios, the accommodation and the meals are all located in the same building or nearby, contributes to a unique working environment at the Summer Academy.
Courses can be booked by weeks as well, but a far better profit is experienced when at least two or three weeks in continuity gives you the chance to apply and practice what you have learned. This is the best way to fully enjoy your art work. At the end of every week a curated show summarizes the work of all art-classes.
