Charles River Aquatics at 285 Babcock Street (between Gardner St & Ashford St), Boston, is a swim school committed to helping children & adults develop life skills through swim lessons. Our objective is to provide an atmosphere conducive to development and personal growth for individuals of all ages. We teach water safety, foster sportsmanship and fair play and demand respect for others in the class and in the larger community, while instilling in our participants a love for the sport.
Charles River Aquatics differs from other lesson programs because we are dedicated solely to the teaching of swimming through proper technique. Swimming is a sport to be enjoyed for life and proper technique reduces the risk of injury, increases water safety, and creates a competitive advantage to those interested in racing.
Our staff members are all Lifeguard and CPR certified. They also receive thorough training in and out of the pool, both in our philosophy and our stroke technique.
Established in 2004, AquaSkills is a highly successful private swim school in Lower Manhattan, and a leader in swim education throughout NYC for adults & children (ages 4+). We conduct private & semi-private swimming classes or small groups of up to 4 in an exclusive heated pool.

AquaSkills instructors are mature, dedicated and highly skilled at teaching all levels. Our methods are an amalgam of the skills of Adrian Ginju, a former member of the Romanian Olympic Swim Team, and Lori Pailet, a professional Aquatic Exercise instructor (AEA), American Red Cross certified to deliver ultimately responsible swim classes.
