PSV Stadium
PSV or PSV Eindhoven, is a famous sports club. It is best known for its professional football section. Everybody in EIndhoven will remember the semi-finals (Champions leaugue) with the famous coach Guus Hiddink. PSV won the European Cup in 1988 (against Benfica) and theUEFA Cup in 1978 (against SC Bastia).
University Building
The English courses EEE and ICT are situated within the modern education complex in Eindhoven and have about 5.000 students studying in different disciplines of engineering and ICT. The Fontys buildings are located in the centre of EIndhoven, 10 minutes walking distance from the railway station.
The engineering and ICT institutes were founded by captains of industry in the south-eastern region of the country. Eindhoven is well-known for its high tech companies and knowledge of electronics (Philips), mechanics (DAF) and mechatronics (ASML). Within a radius of 10 km around Eindhoven, you can find many companies for internships and employment.
