Computer Programming Camp in Bay Area for Girls
Program yoUr Future, San Francisco Bay Area:
Program yoUr Future (PUF) is a non-profit outreach program that aims to raise greater awareness for women in technology by complimenting San Francsico Bay Area middle school girls’ education with programming basics using AppInventor and Scratch, networking skills, and field trips to local museums or tech companies. We provide Saturday workshops and summer camps to introduce girls in 7th or 8th grade to computing, information technology, and careers in IT. Programs are hosted in high-tech and top research sites, including the International Computer Science Institute and the University of California Berkeley.
Program yoUr Future (PUF) Technology Programs for Girls
We provide Saturday workshops & technical summer camps for girls in middle school, which aim to empower you to aspire for technical careers as well as to promote diversity in Computer Science. You will participate in interesting and fun hands-on computer science based activities, and work in teams with other girls that have the same interests as you! You will find out what aspects of computer science best fit your personality and what you can do NOW to prepare for the future.

Who Should Attend?
If you enjoy working in teams, participating in hands-on CS activities, solving challenges, you will truly enjoy every second of the program. If you have an interest and aptitude in high tech, you should apply.
If you are a good to average female student in 7th or 8th Grade residing in or attending middle school in San Francisco Bay Area, you will form a solid network with the tech industry. This program is ideal if you are undecided or confused about your next steps in education or what you can do now to plan for your future.
How can I apply?
You must agree to attend all workshop and camp days and display the following PUF desired behaviours at the program: interest and aptitude in high technology, positive demeanor, and teamwork. Several volunteer positions for high schoolers are also available.

Learn English in California in summer 2024 with StudyAston!Based in an accredited private school in Escondido - 30 minutes north of San Diego, we provide 2-4 week junior English language + activity summer camps to students ages 8-17.

Based in Saratoga in the Santa Clara County area close to San Jose, Vision Tech Camps provides summer tech camps for kids & teens in San Francisco South Bay. We take great pride in creating hands-on and project-based camps that provides an outstanding summer educational opportunities for kids and teens to learn technology. Each week our camps focus on in-depth technology exploration, open-ended investigations, and student-led projects in order to ensure kids are not merely taught, but are engaged throughout the entire process.
Our goal is that students are inspired to explore and further investigate their interests in tech field throughout the year - and perhaps gain new interests over at summer camp.
