Spanish for Business and Law Program:
The Spanish for Business and Law program includes Spanish classes designed to concentrate on the language used by international workers, MBA students, managers and those i
n similar positions. The materials used in this class can be readily applied in the work place. In addition to language acquisition, the students will also learn a great deal about the Costa Rican legal and economic systems.Visits to business institutions that are of interest to the class can also be organized. For instance, students interested in the legal system may attend a court session with the teacher or have an interview with a local lawyer as part of the class. Such visits can also provide the students with excellent sources of local contacts in their profession.
This program is ideal for those who have little time available and want to maximize it. Before your arrival to Costa Rica, we will assess your needs and tailor a personalized program to meet them. Weekly classes normally begin on a Monday. For this program, students may also opt to start classes any day of the week or study for a weekend provided they come with a group or choose to take private lessons.

We offer a 1 to 4 week, college level, Spanish language program as well as additional courses for adventure and self enhancement which can be combined with Spanish classes. Whether you want to learn fire dancing, surfing, obtain scuba certification or practice yoga, there is a course for you. We even offer College Credit for our Spanish curriculum! All of our teachers have achieved college degrees and teach a university level curriculum to guarantee you a top of the line education.

Costa Rican Language Academy, CRLA, has been providing high quality Spanish language instruction along with an authentic Latin American cultural experience since 1989. CRLA is completely owned and operated by Costa Ricans. All our professors have university degrees as well as ample training and experience. Our Spanish immersion program includes Homestay with local families, Latin dance classes, Costa Rican cooking classes, additional conversation sessions, and other cultural activities. CRLA also has a volunteer program in San José with children, elderly people, or in ecological and conservation projects around the country.
