Kidd Academy:
Kidd Academy, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is a preschool offering child care programs for children 6 weeks - 12 years of age. Kidd Academy will provide education through the well established HighReach Learning program. HighReach focuses on a balanced curriculum that addresses the whole child: socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. The program is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on activities. A balance of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities are a daily event.

Infant Program:
Our infant program is designed to build skills with your baby through engaging songs, rhymes and stories as he or she begins to recognize voices, sounds and words. We want you to be confident that you are providing your child with an enriching program and quality child care where your child can be safe, happy and secure.

Toddler Program:
We strive to meet the needs of our youngest learners by providing an environment filled with stimulating activities that invite your child to explore and learn. Classroom skills include:

Preschool Program:

Afterschool Program:
The after-school program focuses on age appropriate skills and concepts. The child initiated teacher guided approach to learning encourages each student to explore their own areas of individual interest while meeting objectives. Students will be able to participate in a variety of activities while in an environment filled with opportunity to explore learning in new and exciting ways. Activities include: arts and crafts, imagination and creativity, music and movement and exploration. In addition, all children will be given the opportunity to complete school assigned homework in a quiet atmosphere.

Special Programs
:
We offer a diverse learning experience. We offer Spanish, Music, Library, Computer and Sign Language as a part of our curriculum. These classes are included in your weekly tuition.

Spanish:
In Spanish the students enjoy learning through sight, song, repetition and LAUGHTER! Our teachers believe that students learn best when they are having fun.

Music:
Music class is a wonderful learning time. Studies have proven that children that are involved in music do better in school. Our students learn rhythm, notes, and beat counting.

Library:
Library is a time of reading enjoyment. Students may listen to a guest reader, choose a book to read to or with their teacher or follow along to a story on CD. All of this helps to build a strong love of books and expansive vocabulary.

Computers:
Computers are everywhere. Students at Kidd Academy will get a jump start on the basic operation of computers. We learn parts of the computer, how they work and basic typing skills. This program is based on your child’s age. For example, toddlers are learning hand eye coordination while our preschoolers are playing fun games that teach appropriate hand placement.

Sign Language:

Sign Language is an exciting class. The students love showing us how they can talk with their hands and their mouths!
