Percorsi d'Italiano, Rome:
“Percorsi d’Italiano” is a team of Italian language teachers based in Rome, with many years of experience abroad and in Italy. Collaboration with embassies, cultural institutes, universities and international companies, for which we have drawn up study programmes in the past, has convinced us of the need to offer language courses that are completely dedicated to the linguistic, professional and cultural needs of foreigners coming to Rome for business or for fun. Classroom lessons are held at the facilities of the school in the central and prestigious Aventino neighbourhood, within walking distance of the archaeological area in the centre of Rome. The school can easily be reached with the B-line of the underground, Piramide stop.
Learning a new language is a “percorso” (“journey”) of constant discovery, going well beyond the assimilation of grammar rules. In other words, it means making the most of your stay in Italy, finding out about the landscape, art, history and traditions, coming into direct contact with everyday life in the country.
We therefore differentiate between those who want to learn Italian for business use and those who want to learn Italian through a tailor-made and innovative training programme, applying our proprietary "on the move methodology".
Accommodation:
We have carefully selected rooms or apartments, B&B, guest houses or alternatively we can recommend hotels in the area, to make your stay in Rome as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Our learning-on-the-move methodology is innovative, clear and accessible. The main characteristic is that it takes place outdoors. Teaching and learning the Italian language while walking through the landmarks that make Italy the eternal city, this is the most remarkable aspect.
Rome is a city of ancient stories, legends and myths; and has been able to reinvent itself over and over again. Rome has thrived in the Middle Ages, during the Renaissance, the Baroque period, and even in this modern age.
As the Pyramid, within walking distance from our school, the learning-on-the-move methodology allows you to watch the same place from different angles. This means one simple thing: you can make more classes in the same place.
It is essentially a chance to learn the Italian language in the most beautiful and oldest districts in the city, in the ruins of imperial Rome, in the most picturesque squares or simply while enjoying a cup of coffee in a typical bar.
In a nutshell, why our method:
Because I see, I learn and memorize
Because I learn new words and new phrases and use them, so I speak Italian immediately
Because, to tell the truth, having classes in the streets, squares, palaces, Roman markets is much more fun than being in a classroom
