Goldfish Swim School, Detroit: Goldfish Swim School, located in the Birmingham and Farmington Hills suburbs of Detroit, is a state of the art aquatic facility dedicated entirely to year-round indoor swim classes to children ages 4 months and up. At Goldfish Swim School we specialize in infant and toddler swim lessons, and also offer family swim times weekly throughout the year to everyone in the community, not just our enrolled customers.
Baby Classes: - Adult Participation, 6 child limit per class, 30 minute classes. - Mini 1: 4-12 months - Mini 2: 13-35 months - Mini Junior: 18-35 months (Advanced semi-private class with no adult participation.)
Toddler Classes: - No Adult Participation / 4 child limit per class / 30 minute classes

Junior 3: 3-4 years: - Student is able to Jellyfish and Starfish float for 5 seconds independently - Student is able to roll over for a breath independently - Student is able to swim 10 feet independently
Glider 4 years & up: - Student is able to roll over for a breath independently - Student is able to Jellyfish and Starfish float for 10 seconds independently - Student is able to swim 10 feet independently - Student is able to circle swim continuously w/ rollover breaths
Beginner 5 years & up: - No previous swim lesson or aquatic experience necessary - Introduction to the basic skills necessary for swimming - Perfect class for nervous students or very beginners
Star 4 years & up: - Student needs be able to swim with 3 consecutive rollover breaths - Student needs to be able to swim 1 width of basic freestyle w/ rollover breaths - Student needs to be able to swim 1 width of elementary backstroke - Student needs to be able to Starfish float for 10 seconds
Pro 4 years & up: - Student is able to do 3 consecutive rolling breaths - Student is able to swim 2 widths of basic freestyle w/ rolling breaths - Student is able to swim 2 widths of elementary backstroke - Student is able to swim 2 widths of basic backstroke - Student is able to perform the basic breastroke kick

Attend Tinkering with Mobile Apps for a week of fun and hands-on introduction to computer science (CS)! This program is perfect for students curious about exploring the basics of CS. This program introduces the fundamental principles of CS by building a working mobile app with MIT App Inventor. Express your creativity and discover what they are capable of in this program.
Hacking in a Digital World is designed to cover a broader range of topics in an exciting 2-week period. Campers will learn about robotics, app development, microcontrollers and even cybersecurity. Learn how to keep your information secure online, and what it’s like to hack a website. Programming experience is encouraged before attending this program, but not required.

These are non-residential programs that include campus tours, field trips to local tech companies and other recreational activities immersing students into the college experience.

The Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC) with several locations in Milwaukee County, provides children and adults with a safe, fun and supportive means of learning to swim. The WAC has a wide variety of aquatic programs for both youth and adults, including swim lessons for tots-seniors taught by our certified instructors.
We offer a large variety of fun water classes, while our swim clubs and triathlon training offer that extra challenge for those looking to improve their swim skills.

The Office of Gifted and Talented Education has been providing programming for academically able students for over 20 years. We offer academic year and summer programming for middle and high school students (grades 7 - 12).
All programs are instructed by MSU professors. Residential programs provide a 10:1 ratio of students to Resident Hall Assistant. Resident Assistants provide 24 hours supervision on students. Many programs include evening enrichment activities as well as use of campus facilities. Academic criteria must be met for each program. Partial scholarships are available.

The IU (Indiana University) Natatorium is the world famous swimming/diving facility in Indianapolis. We offer swimming lessons and training for adult and child swimmers of all ages and levels. In the main pool water temperature is kept at 79 degrees and there are six underwater windows for television and coaching analysis.
The IU Natatorium is located on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus just west of downtown Indianapolis, near the Indianapolis Zoo, Downtown Canal Walk, and White River State Park.
