As a leading Jeweller and with many years experience as an educator, Vannetta is passionate about teaching and encourages her students to achieve their potential as designer/makers. In addition to teaching professional jewellery making techniques there is an emphasis on developing individual design ideas. This is a one-day Saturday class, and is a great introduction to beaded jewellery making. It is a hands-on class so you will be making jewellery to take home but it's also a fun way to spend a day expressing your creativity!

You will learn: how to use jewellery tools, design with beads, make silver findings and other skills that can be used to continue making jewellery at home. You will leave the class with a pair of earrings, a necklace and a bracelet.

Beginners Beaded Jewellery Course:
During this 5 week course you will be introduced to beaded jewellery making and will learn the technical and design skills to make stunning jewellery pieces.

You will learn: How to be creative with beads, wire wrapping with head pins, using jump rings and how to make silver findings. By the end of the course you will have designed and created a collection of beautiful pieces including necklaces, earrings and bracelets.

Beginners Silver Jewellery - Ring Making Class:

You will learn: You will learn how to cut, shape, texture and solder in silver and use these skills to design and create two silver rings.

You will be working in a fully equipped jewellery studio but you will be able to use your new skills at home with just a few basic tools.

Beginners Silver Jewellery Course:
On this five week evening course you will be introduced to silver jewellery making and will learn the skills needed to design and make stunning silver jewellery. Initially you will practice on copper and then move onto silver and make a pair of earrings, a pendant and a bracelet.

You will learn: jewellery techniques such as soldering, shaping, cutting, texturing metal and making findings.The course is held in a fully equipped jewellery studio and you will learn how to use a variety of jewellery tools.

Intermediate Silver Jewellery Course:
This five week evening course builds on the skills learnt on the beginners silver course and introduces more advanced techniques.

You will learn: how to make a bezel and set a cabachon stone into a ring, pendant or earrings. You will practice cutting intricate designs and more challenging soldering and will make full use of a wide range of jewellery tools.

Advanced Silver Jewellery Course:

On this ten week evening course you will build on the skills learnt on the beginners and or intermediate courses and learn some mPhotos of Vannetta Seecharran School of Jewellery, Londonore advanced techniques. You will also be encouraged to be more creative with your designs and your design skills will be developed throughout the course.

You will learn: advanced techniques such as making a hollow construction, riveting and fusing metal. You will then have the opportunity to work on projects of your choice and develop and realise your own creations.

Wire Jewellery Class:

Working with wire is an excellent way to create beautiful jewellery at home. On this class you will learn to combine wire, beads and chain to create a collection of jewellery pieces including a necklace, earrings and a bracelet.

You will learn: a range of wire working techniques and how to use different types of wire and jewellery pliers.

Wire Jewellery Course:
Working with wire is an excellent way to create beautiful jewellery at home. You will learn to maximise the use of your pliers and combine wire and beads to create a collection of jewellery pieces including rings, earrings, a bracelet and a necklace.

You will learn: Each week will cover a new wire technique and you will learn to wrap beads, make links for bracelets and necklaces, use jumprings, make claps and earring hooks and a lot more.

Wax Carving for Cast Silver Jewellery:
This is a five week evening course on wax carving. Wax carving is a really interesting and effective method of making silver jewellery. The process involves carving a piece of wax into the shape you want. This is sent to a professsional casters and comes back as silver copy of the shape you carved, ready for you to sand and polish. Very intricate pieces can easily and quickly be made using this technique and you can use this technique at home with minimal tools.

You will learn: how to carve wax into the shape of your desired piece. How to finish the silver. You will make a piece such as a ring or brooch using this technique.

Three month Comprehensive Jewellery Course:
This is a course that will take you from complete beginner to proficient jeweller in 3 months. The class will run during the day on one day per week. All the main techniques are covered and you will make a collection of jewellery that utilises these skills.

You will learn:

We are a Professional Art Studio, located in a Grade II listed building in the conservation area of Mapledurham, just outside Reading, Berkshire, South East England, 45 miles (70 km) west of London. We have a Painting Studio, where everyone has their own Professional Easel, painting table, paints, brushes, canvases, high stool etc. We also have an upstairs Lounge, with art books and a photo library plus an art gallery.

We offer you a variety of Painting Holidays and Courses in a Professional Studio and with a Master Painter & her artists. All your professional art materials are provided. Our courses are very exciting, different and creative. Your tutor paints along with you and guides you through every stage. Brush control, brush strokes, different techniques for different effects, composition, tonal values, focal points, colour balance, perspective and drawing. Fashion Antidote is a small independent fashion school and studio based just off Brick Lane in East London. Our emphasis is on teaching fashion related subjects and specialising in courses and workshops on fashion business and how to set up your own company.

The school is located off Brick Lane in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The nearest London Underground Tube Station is Aldgate East Tube on the Hammersmith & City Line between Liverpool Street and Whitechapel, and the District Line between Tower Hill and Whitechapel.
