The Woodlands Preparatory School, Houston area:
The Woodlands Preparatory School is a non-sectarian college preparatory day school enrolling a total of 225 girls and boys in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. We are located in Spring, approximately 20 miles north of Downtown Houston in Harris County, serving communities including Houston, Katy, Pasadena, Pearland and Kemah. The Woodlands Preparatory is an IB-PYP candidate and I-20 approved private school, which is well known for pushing the academic envelope beyond other standards. Advanced Placement Program:

Students are admitted to Advanced Placement coPhoto of Private K-12 School in Spring, TXurses by department recommendation and approval. All AP courses have been reviewed and approved by the College Board Audit.

Graduation Diploma Requirements:
The Advanced Placement curriculum offered at The Woodlands Preparatory School is honor course work. The Woodlands Preparatory School High School Diploma is granted to students who have completed all requirements for the program and have successfully earned 25 credits during grades 9-12.

The credits to meet graduation requirements include the following:

Anna May Daulton taught school in the Mansfield school district for 30 years and passed away on June 1, 2006. Anna May Daulton Elementary opened August 2006. Mrs. Daulton was born Feb. 10, 1918, in Dallas, the daughter of Carl B. and Beulah Blevins Howard. She graduated from North Texas State Teachers College in Denton in 1939, with a degree in Elementary Education.

The Anderson Private School for the Gifted, Talented and Creative
Courses / Programs
Located in Fort Worth, Tarrant County in north-central Texas, The Anderson Private School for the Gifted, Talented and Creative was founded to serve the unique needs of intellectually, academically and creatively precocious children. The school is non-graded and accepts children ages four to sixteen. Lesson planning is individualized for each child with much of the instruction offered on a one-on-one basis.

Since our curriculum is non-traditional, students are in different levels in different subjects. It is not uncommon to have elementary age children studying high school subjects at our school. Immaculate Conception School (ICS), located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is a private catholic school serving Pre-K - 8th Grade. ICS, originally named St. Cecilia's, began in February 1916 with mass in a parishioner's home. The school was opened in September 1952 as a four grade school, staffed by four teachers furnished by the sisters of St. Benedict, of Covington, Louisiana.

ICS serves an average of two hundred and fifty students, grades PK-8. Through the years our faculty has been honored with educators from five different countries and four religious orders. Immaculate Conception history has built a firm foundation for our future.
