Beginner DSLR camera courses

- Intense Foundation of Digital Photography – Level 1. Day class.
Our intense and condensed one day Photography course is aimed at beginners who want to maximise their camera's potential. Through a combination of classroom based theory and practical exercises, learn how to operate your digital camera as well as understand the fundamentals of photography.

- Camera Language – Level 1. Saturday class. 1 day.
Camera Language is delivered on location in Central London and not in a classroom environment. It fully concentrates on the practical and creative use of your Digital SLR and you will learn learn how to create effects such as shallow depth of field, panning and long exposures, as well as the fundamentals of photography.

- Beginners Guide to Digital Photography – Level 1. Evening class. 3 weeks.
This Photography course is run in the evenings and is aimed at complete beginners who own a Digital SLR camera. Through classroom based theory, practical exercises and homework assignments, each participant will learn how to fully operate their digital camera, and understand the fundamentals of photography

- Studio Lighting: Portraits. Saturday class. 1 day.
The Studio Lighting: Portraits is aimed at beginners and intermediate photographers alike. The aim of the course is to learn the importance of light in Portraiture and how to control it, as well as the relationship between photographer and sitter. 

- Introduction to the Darkroom and Film Photography. Day workshop
Using medium format, vintage and modern analogue cameras, learn how to shoot, process and print on this 1 day Workshop using black and white film!

The University of Westminster located in London, England offers a BA Fashion course. This is a great environment in which to develop your drawing and painting - a working studio with all the art materials you could need - while you are here, the studio is yours. You will receive extensive, personal tuition in painting and drawing from a full-time professional artist who has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally, and your art will develop in leaps and bounds. If you ever wanted to develop your painting and drawing, this is your chance. Beginners are particularly welcome.
