Llangenny Flute Summer School:
The Llangenny Flute Summer School for students ages 16+ years, takes place in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside just inside the Brecon Beacons National Park. Llangenny is a small village a few miles from Crickhowell and the Summer School uses Pendarren Outdoor Education Centre as its home for the duration of the course. Students not only enjoy the fabulous views from the accommodation, but also get to take advantage of the Centre's facilities with a problem-solving afternoon.

Location and Facilities:
Accommodation for the course is in a building in the grounds of Pendarren House called The Firs, a large fully-equipped bungalow that has been converted for use by groups of up to 16 people, in shared rooms for between 2 and 4 people. Food will be provided, ready to heat and serve, and cupboards and fridges will be equipped with necessary stores. Please inform us of any allergies, special food requirements, or health/medical issues.
The Firs is located close to the village of Llangenny not far from the A40 between Abergavenny and Brecon. It is about 30 minutes from the M4 at Newport and 40 minutes from the M50 at Ross on Wye, and is approximately 2½ hours drive from West London and under 2 hours from Birmingham by road.
There are airports at Bristol and Cardiff with reasonable transport links to Newport. Airport coaches also run to Newport from most of the London airports. The coach station at Newport is in the front of the train station, making transfer very easy.
The nearest railway station is Abergavenny (8 miles), approximately 2½ hours from London Paddington and connected to all major rail routes into the UK. Pick-ups and drop-offs are offered by the Course staff, so participants should time their train arrivals as follows: on Monday 16th July, between 12 & 1.30pm; on Saturday 21st July, between 9 & 10.30am. If necessary, other arrival & departure times can be accommodated.

UK Film School provides a residential, 5-day summer filmmaking course for students aged 12-15 and 16-19 years at Garden House in the historic market town of Stamford, Lincolnshire is a fantastic location conveniently situated in the heart of England and only 1 hour by train from London's King's Cross Station (Our summer base has plenty of interesting locations for filmmaking).Over the course of a week, students have the opportunity to make a film from start to finish using broadcast quality equipment and under the guidance of film and TV professionals.

Founded in 2013 by pianist Olena Shvetsova and her cellist husband Richard May, Encore Music Projects International Summer School provides a summer music course for children and young adults in the exclusive setting of a UK Specialist Music School.Our residential summer music school is held at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset in South West England. Designed for intermediate and advanced students, the 2-week music course is for piano, strings, composition, voice, and chamber ensembles.
You will receive expert tuition from our team of world class musicians. Lessons will focus on the development of technique, stage performance and presentation, musical styles and interpretation, competition and audition preparation.
The emphasis will be on making music together, with daily one-to-one lessons, chamber music, piano/vocal masterclasses/workshops, String Chamber Orchestra and Community Choir.
In the evenings there will be several public teacher concerts. There will be time for recreation, including free use of the school’s covered swimming pool, organised activities and games, and a free day to explore the fabulous sights around Wells.
