Summer Flute Course in Wales, UK for teens / adults
Llangenny Flute Summer School:
The Llangenny Flute Summer School, in southern Powys, Wales, is a 14 day residential Flute program for students ages 16+ years with daily masterclasses and chamber music, plus a concert for participants. The emphasis of the Summer School is to create a balance between learning and fun! Each day there will be a morning warm-up session covering various aspects of technique, followed by masterclass sessions, as well as a variety of classes including orchestral and ensemble playing. During the week there will be an afternoon of "Problem Solving" away from the flute, run by the Outdoor Education Centre (you will need waterproof outdoor clothing and suitable footwear).
Flute Summer School (ages 16+ years):
Warm-ups:
Sessions to stretch you mentally, physically and musically - starting your flute day the right way!
Masterclasses:
Individually tailored sessions in front of the whole class, working on your chosen repertoire, dealing with technical and music matters.
Chamber music coaching:
Working in different groups on a selection of repertoire, coached by Sarah, Zoe and visiting staff.
Accompaniment session:
An opportunity to get to know the piano part of music that you are working on in a one-to-one session with Zoe.
Problem-solving:
Taking advantage of the Outdoor Education Centre's facilities.
Concert performance:
At the end of the course, all students take part in the final concert in the Village Hall.

Language and Music For Life, Summer Music Camps in UK 2026

• Founded in 1997, Language and Music for Life (LMFL) offers a unique 2-week summer music and language courses for British & international students in North Yorkshire, England.• LMFL provides quality one-to-one training in a wide range of instruments & voice tuition to enthusiastic musicians of all levels & ages (children aged 5+, teenagers & adults). UK Film School provides a residential, 5-day summer filmmaking course for students aged 12-15 and 16-19 years at Garden House in the historic market town of Stamford, Lincolnshire is a fantastic location conveniently situated in the heart of England and only 1 hour by train from London's King's Cross Station (Our summer base has plenty of interesting locations for filmmaking).Over the course of a week, students have the opportunity to make a film from start to finish using broadcast quality equipment and under the guidance of film and TV professionals.
Students will experience all aspects of filmmaking - including script development, casting, location scouting, cinematography, sound recording, and more.
